On September 7th, 2014 teams and individual competitors will again have the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Pocono Mountains. The Pocono Challenge is a hybrid multi-discipline adventure race that's a combination of Adventure Race and Off Road Triathlon.  This course will challenge experienced competitors while giving anyone with moderate training the chance to enjoy mountain biking, canoeing and jogging or trekking with friends or family.  Minimum age thirteen with a parent or responsible adult. (Part of the proceeds to benefit local charities)

In 2014 the Pocono Challenge will be a USARA nationally sanctioned event and regional qualifier in the Sprint division so competitors can earn points to compete at a national level.  The first 200 registrants will recieve a 15% discount so don't delay !!  Register early and save.

The race consists of a
-14.5 mile mountain bike ride along the beautiful McDade Trail.  Click HERE to see pictures of the trail.
-10 mile paddle down the Delaware River (We provide canoes, kayaks, floatation devices and paddles)
-3 mile trek or jog ending at Smithfield Beach.  Click HERE for pictures of Smithfield Beach.

Every competitor will receive a custom t-shirt, finisher's medal, and lunch buffet provided by the Chef and Staff of Marco Antonio's.

We have spots for eighty (80) individual competitors who will be using kayaks and three hundred (300) teams who will be using canoes provided by Adventure Sports Outfitters.  Check out our new relay division. One on the bike, two in the canoe and one on the trek.
